Leadership Bootcamp 2024

four workshops for community sector leaders

Do you sometimes feel out of your depth as a leader?
Do people look to you for answers you just don’t have?
Do you want to increase your skills and confidence as a leader?

Successful leaders have an air of confidence and share both credit and accountability. They have a toolkit of practical skills, and are respectful and adaptable. This series of four workshops is about being a more effective community sector leader in Capricorn.

By participating in these four workshops, you will better understand yourself as a leader, and your impact in the workplace. You will also meet other leaders in the sector, experiencing similar opportunities and challenges.

This series includes topics recommended by senior managers at CatholicCareCQ, Lives Lived Well and Carers Queensland; and has been rigorously tested with leaders at CQUniversity Australia, Rockhampton Regional Council, AnglicareCQ, Queensland Rail, Bidgerdii Health Service, Benevolent Living, Bluescope Steel, and others.

Geoff Higgins, the facilitator, is a local business consultant with extensive experience working with community, health, education and government leaders in the Capricorn region and beyond. His facilitation approach will encourage you to share your experiences, and help you to see how you can apply these skills back at work.
